Marks & Spencer Debuts 350 Styles of Vegan Shoes
Top UK hightsreet chain Marks & Spencer (M&S) have debuted their first vegan footwear line this week. Broadening the existing synthetic range, the brand can now say the process of making the fancy footwear is 100% vegan-friendly. From chic sandals to colourful trainers, over 350 footwear styles across womenswear, menswear and kidswear will be vegan-friendly this season. What's more, the stylish shoes are super affordable! You can pick up a pair of on-trend beige sandals for just £19.50 or causal, white trainers with a sweet rainbow design for £25.
"After increased customer interest in veganism and a rise in online searches for related products, we decided to investigate the possibility of expanding our vegan-friendly offering into footwear and accessories,"
M&S senior footwear technologist Rachel Smith said. "Over the year we have analyzed our products and gone the extra mile to ensure we offer a great selection that complies with all vegan requirements."
The new launch follows the retail chain’s January debut addition of 60 animal free food items under their Plant Kitchen brand, including BBQ Pulled Jackfruit Pizza, No Pork Sausages and a wide selection of vegan meals.
