Wagamama Vegan Breakfast To Be Served At UK Airports
British restaurant chain Wagamama recently announced the addition of new vegan breakfast dishes at its United Kingdom airport locations.
The Japanese-inspired restaurant chain will offer vegan options such as scrambled tofu with maple seitan bacon, beetroot seitan sausage, mushrooms, and tomato, roti wraps with sriracha mayonnaise, coconut porridge, and coconut yogurt bowls.
In 2017, the chain added an expansive vegan food and drink menu after noticing that many customers would order dishes and request no animal-based ingredients. Some of the menu items include Yasai Yaki Soba, Yasai Pad Thai and Yasai Gyoza.
In recent years an increasing number of restaurants across the UK have chosen to add vegan options or a dedicated vegan menu to their offerings. This month alone, TGI Fridays debuted a vegan “bleeding” burger, Pizza Hut added a vegan jackfruit pizza to 253 locations, and pizza chain Papa John’s added three vegan pizzas and cheesy “scrolls” to its menu.
